Germany is already India’s most important trading partner in Europe, though it ranks just 25th on the ladder of countries with which Germany has business ties. The President said bi-lateral trade between India and Germany was United States dollars 20.33 billion in 2014-15 and it was India’s largest trade partner in the European Union.
