India invites Belarus to take active part in Make in India program

India invites Belarus to actively participate in the Make in India program, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Belarus Pankaj Saxena said at a press conference to mark the Republic Day of India on 24 January, BelTA has learned.

The diplomat said that the program is designed to attract foreign technologies and companies to India. “India invites Belarus to set up enterprises. Belarus is attractive for us as it has cutting-edge technologies and well-developed agricultural production sector, manufactures heavy-duty vehicles, and can become a partner in the India’s program,” Pankaj Saxena believes.

He pointed out that the matters were discussed during the high-level and top-level visits and talks. Pankaj Saxena stressed that high-level visits contribute significantly to the development of the bilateral relations. Read more…
