Germany To Support ‘Make In India’ Campaign

Germany is already India’s most important trading partner in Europe, though it ranks just 25th on the ladder of countries with which Germany has business ties. The President said bi-lateral trade between India and Germany was United States dollars 20.33 billion in 2014-15 and it was India’s largest trade partner in the European Union. Modi will join Merkel on Tuesday for a first-hand view of the Bosch facility and interact with its executives on innovation and research to help the government to promote “Make in India” and “Digital India“.
